Local artisans Renton Bishopric and Clare Botfield co-founded Pottery for the PlanetThrough beautiful, unique designs and high-quality handmade products made in their Noosa studio, they aim to save over 10 million disposable coffee cups going into landfill each year. Easing of Restrictions 

Restrictions for QLD businesses will be easing from June 25 including cafes, pubs, restaurants and events. And more businesses will need to have the QLD Check in App. Find out more, including the Easing Restrictions Table.
Big Plans for Small Business Strategy 
The Qld Gov’s Big Plans for Small Business Strategy 2021-23 aims to help small business thrive and grow through a commitment of $140 million over 2 years. Find out what’s included and how it aims to support local and regional economies.
New Superannuation Rules  
The Superannuation Guarantee is set to increase to 10% from 1 July.  Make sure your payroll and accounting systems are set for this increase and it is important that employers pay their workers the correct amount of super.

New employment contract tool 
Easily create your next employment contract using the Australian Govt's new Employment Contract tool.  This tool helps small employers make a basic employment contract that complies with workplace laws  under the national industrial relations system. Qld Export Awards

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed this month between Noosa Council and the University of the Sunshine Coast. The MoU will pave the way for new education, research and on-the-job training opportunities.
