As we wind down for the Christmas break, from the whole Economic Development team at Noosa Council, we wish you a Merry Christmas!

We are so proud of our Noosa Shire business community. You have navigated uncertainty and the ever changing and complex rules, in one of the most challenging periods of our time. However amongst this, you have found strength, resilience, and adaptability and remained a connected and supportive community.

We hope that over the Christmas break, you are able to enjoy time with friends, family and all that we love about Noosa. If you're preparing for the busy period right now, wishing you a bumper season!

New Council CEO Appointed

Senior Government executive Scott Waters has been named as Noosa Council's new Chief Executive Officer. Councillors unanimously endorsed Mr Waters to take up the role at last week's Ordinary Meeting. The current CEO at City of Darwin, Mr Waters was selected ahead of 87 candidates for the critical role and  is due to start in late February 2022.  More information

Free Buses are back! 

The free Christmas holiday service will commence on 11 December 2021 and run until 23 Jan 2022. The Go Noosa Loop Bus operates approximately every 15 minutes from 7am - 7pm and every 30 minutes from 7pm - 10pm. The loop bus travels in a clockwise direction. More information
