As we continue to deal with the flow on effects of the Coronavirus, there's something about the beginning of Spring that seems to lift people's spirits and we hope business is looking up for you. Operating COVIDSafe 

Businesses still need to ensure they are operating in a COVID safe way and in accordance with the QLD Health directives for business. The QLD Government has outlined a roadmap for QLD’s Economic recovery and has essential COVID-19 information, support and up to date border restrictions on their website.

Rent relief

COVID-19 regulated rent relief expires on 30 September. If you have not reached an arrangement with your tenant or landlord please contact the Office of the Small Business Commissioner. 

JobKeeper

Keep up to date with the latest Federal Government COVID-19 support measures, including JobKeeper. 

Are you OK

The effects of COVID-19 on small business goes beyond operations and finances, it's also important that we look after the mental health of ourselves, and our staff. Support is available and you can access a full list of wellness resources on our website.

Council update

Free hour of advice 

Would it be helpful if you had a chance to sit down and speak with a business expert? Council's Business Support Panel provides access to experts in business planning, continuity planning, HR, marketing and online retail. You can access one hour of free advice.  

Business Survey 

The Business Resilience Survey helped Council know how our businesses are faring during the pandemic. Keep your eye out for the next Survey, due out in October, so we can make sure our programs match our business community needs.

Business Roundtable

The Business Roundtable met recently to touch base on how local business is going and to hear what they need from Council. Always honest and constructive, the Roundtable also works to keep Noosa’s business recovery on track. The Group act as a conduit of communication between our business community and council so make sure you join your local Chamber.  

2020-21 Council Budget

In setting the 2020-21 Council Budget, much of the focus centred on the uncertainty of COVID-19 and its impacts on the community. Have your say on the new budget until 27 September.

Green light for Business Centre Development

Noosa Council has reached an agreement with Stockwell Developments to enable the first step of the Shire Business Centre to proceed.
