We caught up with Megan D'Elton from Noosa Care to learn what the future holds for providing aged care support in Noosa. Noosa Care is a residential care service, in one of Noosa’s priority industries – Health and Wellness – which contributed $81.6M to the local economy in 2018-19. Noosa Care employ over 350 staff, and are an incorporated association with a board of local directors, providing specialist dementia aged care services to our community. JobTrainer Courses Fund The Australian Government's JobTrainer Fund provides access to free and low-fee training for over 150 accredited courses and qualifications to Queensland job seekers, school leavers and young people. Learn more
JobTrainer Apprentice & Trainee Subsidy Now is a great time to hire an apprentice or trainee with the launch of the Australian Business Growth Fund. Any sized business who takes on a new apprentice could be eligible to receive a 50% subsidy of the apprentice’s wages until 30 September 2021. JobTrainer is available Jan 2021

Manufacturing Modernisation Fund Round 2 of the Manufacturing Modernisation Fund supports transformation in small and medium manufacturing businesses. It provides co-funded grants to transform manufacturing and to support job growth and a more highly skilled workforce. Available until 2023. Applications close 21 Jan 2020
Australian Business Growth Fund This Fund will allow businesses to apply for long term equity capital investments to enable them to grow and expand. Stay updated.
Building Better Regions Fund - Round 5 Announced The $841.6M BBRF supports the Australian Government's commitment to create jobs, drive economic growth and build stronger regional communities into the future, opens in January 2021. Go Noosa Council has an expanded Go Noosa program this festive season. In addition to free buses, Noosa Ferries has come on board to offer an alternative option to get around town - via the Noosa River - at a discounted rate.
